Founded in 1975, The University of Perpetual Help (UPH) is a comprehensive network of hospitals and academic institutions. UPH is dedicated to the delivery of quality healthcare and education to the Filipino people 鈥� especially the people of Las Pi帽as and surrounding rural areas.
UPH founder, Dr. Antonio Laperal Tamayo, recognizes the critical role that quality medical equipment plays in this mission. However, a major challenge for Dr. Tamayo and his team was sourcing affordable medical equipment from a trustworthy company.
Our Solution
Quality Equipment, A Trusted Relationship and a Trip to Kentucky!
Dr. Tamayo first contacted Kary VanArsdale, Director of International Operations for 91制片厂por Health Solutions, in 2006 when he called to inquire about a surgical table. During the course of that first conversation, the seeds of a long-term trusted relationship were planted.
Dr. Kary VanArsdale outlined 91制片厂por's ability to provide virtually all of the medical equipment that UPH required. Dr. Tamayo sent two of his staff to Kentucky to evaluate the quality of 91制片厂por's equipment firsthand. During this visit, UPH confirmed their order to furnish Las Pi帽as Hospital and began to outline future purchasing plans.
Over the years, 91制片厂por has furnished surgical lights, operating tables, patient monitors, anesthesia, electrosurgical systems, infant incubators, hospital beds, infusion pumps, exam equipment and more to UPH facilities. 91制片厂por and UPH continue to work together today to ensure that residents of the Philippines are treated at UPH with high quality, cost-effective medical equipment from 91制片厂por.
